Amelia began practicing yoga while recovering from an extensive spinal fusion surgery due to scoliosis.  Although she was intimidated and inflexible, with diligent practice she went beyond rehabilitation and transformed.  Her body that once felt weak and encumbered by the titanium rod in her back, began to feel strong and graceful.  It was the freedom, mobility, and empowerment she found on her mat that sparked her passion to teach yoga.

Following studies in creative vinyasa flow, power vinyasa, and intuitive spiritual healing with Wanderlust Yoga, CorePower yoga, and Wendy De Rosa, Amelia has been teaching in Austin for 10 years.

Each time you step onto your mat, she hopes that you are ignited to an awareness of your divine potential. In her classes, you can expect to feel the combined influence of her training in creativity, power, and healing through cuing and music.
