Community Guided Meditation from Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3rd
Dear yogi,
The light in me honors and acknowledges, the light in you.
This past week, as our entire country awaited to hear the outcome of our Presidential election, we have been riddled with nerves, anxiety, curiosity, excitement, and so much more. These heightened emotions and concerns can distract us from what we are truly in alignment with, what is meaningful to us, and what keeps us in a state of peace and calm. Your practice of intention, meditation, and breath work make it possible to absorb and neutralize any energy that moves through you and shift your perspective to a place of equanimity.
Whatever you are feeling after last night, this week, this year﹣allow yourself time to process and reflect. The emotions, stories, physical sensations, these are all energies moving in different forms. Everything that you feel is valid and deserves acknowledgment. The practice of meditation allows you to sit with what is in the present moment and hold space for all energy to rise, transform, and pass, leaving you with a greater sense of gratitude for the world around you. This time with yourself is purposeful and valuable.
Here is the community guided meditation from Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3rd. Although this meditation was in honor of the tremendous movement our country was forging it can be applied any day.
This meditation is a practice of present moment physicality, breath, reflection, intention, and gratitude.
Enjoy yogi,
Thank you to the teachers in all things,
Thank you to the spirit that moves in all things,
Thank you for our breath,
And thank you for each other.
OM Peace Peace Peace
